With a mixture of exciting cities and extreme activities, Argentina welcomes explorers with open arms. From the bustling streets of Buenos Aires to the banks of the thundering Iguassu Falls, life flies by at an incredible pace and it can be difficult to catch your breath at times. This is especially the case if you find yourself on a white-knuckle boat ride through the spray of the aforementioned waterfall or hiking to the top of the striking Andean peaks.
It’s easy to immerse yourself in the culture of tango, steak and visual arts, but if things start to get too much for you, there’s always the option to relax with a cup of coffee – another past time the locals love in this country.
There are many diverse landscapes, ranging from impressive mountains to lush rainforest. There is so much to see here - and that’s without even mentioning the stunning Patagonia region and the fact that Argentina it is home to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, which also provides a gateway to Antarctica. As well as the southernmost city in the world, Buenos Aires is also a cruise port that's common on many South American itineraries.
